This review is from: Time Timer Watch Plus Adult (Office Product)
I have clinically diagnosed and treated adult ADHD, and after months of rave reviews and pressure from my psychiatrist to enlist the help of “Time Timer” products into my regiment of coaching aides.
Since she was so adamant in this area the usefulness of the product, I chose to go all out–purchasing two of the large timers (home/work), a small one along with the watch–with the anticipation that the watch would be the most useful device of all.
The pros:
Aesthetics–it can be worn throughout the day without people taking note that it is primarily a device to help keep me on track; it looks like a sports watch. Not something for affair attire, but can pass for casual everyday use.
Dial–Displays the time as well as a solid, at-a-glance LCD time timer spectacle. The spectacle has a backlight, but when activated it seems to distort the clarity of the timer disk.
THE CONS:
Setup – WOW I can’t believe how hard this thing is to operate/set up. I’m admittedly a gadget freak and an IT systems architect, and typically have anything you can plug in or power up running at full speed pretty quickly. It’s EXTREMELY hard to set up even after reading the instructions. There are 6 buttons masquerading as 4. It’s too hard to clarify here… check

The numerals on the watch face are too small. The writing that identifies what each of the 4 buttons do is too small. There is plenty of watch face for better sized font, but what you get is a teeney-tiny blocky font.
Obviously, some persuade lovingly developed this product. And that’s its downfall.
If I was designing it, I like a softer quick wrap band – not rigid rubber (due to wrist sweat). Large as possible digital numbers. And how in this area some colored buttons?
To the previous poster having distress setting it – there are Youtube videos on how to do this.
I do like the Time Timer Wall Clock/count down timer. This is very cool and very visual.
For a wrist timer, I have a cheapy digital quick wrap watch that beeps on the hour. I like it, it’s very comforting.
