    There’s a small to be desired here. I just received this book today which will be part of a gift for a baby shower diaper cake (Hungry Caterpillar Theme). The fabric is silky which frightens be because this will easily fray fray fray with any small bit of wear – from previous encounter this has happened to a few of my sons baby toys already. Due to the fabric the pages are really poor. If there was a cording around the cover pages it may be a small more sturdy and just feel lasting. The cord and strawberry teether seem to be missing in quality and toughness. The pages and pictures are excellent though so educationally this book will rate well though I don’t reckon it’s that splendid of quality. I can only compare it to other toys we own. For occasion the well-known “Freddy the Firefly” has a much surpass/lasting teether and string/cord/attachment. And we have a cloth book that’s winnie the pooh and the teether on that is just such a much surpass quality. Anyway, to stick with my theme, I will gift this item. Though, if I saw it on a store rack, I’m not too sure I’d buy it and may look for something else. There’s certainly room for improvement.

    Gorgeous soft version of the classic Very hungry caterpillar, lovely bright colours and has a small strawberry on a string for the small ones to practice their own munching. Book also has a squeaker inside, my bub likes it! Splendid value & makes a lovely gift.

    It’s just Ok. I wanted more for the price. It’s not very interactive and there are only a few pages. The board book is far surpass. For cloth books, I will stick with Lamaze.
